About Us


Michael’s Barber Shop has been in Millburn since 1904. It was changed from its original name, Massi’s Barber Shop, to Michael’s in 1957 when Michael Savia purchased the establishment after working there since 1932. Michael’s continues to be a family business. Michael Savia’s son, Michael, has worked in the shop since 1964 and took over the business in 1995.


Our staff welcomes you and your family to enjoy reasonably priced haircuts, shampoos, and other services. Monday is SENIOR day. All senior citizens over 65 years old will be charged only $11.00 for a basic haircut. Also on Monday, all children 11 years of age and under will be charged $11.00! Our regular base price for haircuts, without wash, is $16.00. Appointments, although not necessary, can be made by calling (973) 376-9865 or (973) 467-0420. Last appointment is no later than one half hour before closing. Walk-in customers are always welcome.


Michael’s carries a complete line of American Crew and Redken Products at reasonable prices.
