MUSICAL DIRECTOR for CHILDREN'S THEATRE of LIVINGSTON

Back again for the 4th year!! Mrs. Fiordaliso has once again been selected to be the
Musical Director for the April 2010 show, Honk, Jr.! The CTL program will begin in
January 2010.

In 2007, Mrs. Fiordaliso was selected as the Musical Director for CTL's very first show
Edna May's Summer Theatre Camp, an original musical written by long-time
Livingston music teacher, Paul Stefany.

After an extremely successful first year, she was brought back to direct their second show,
Schoolhouse Rock, Jr which once again featured almost 80 Livingston students
grades 2 - 6 onstage with a middle school backstage crew of over a dozen. Marilyn also
created an all-student middle school five member pit band to play the show's three performances.

In April 2009 she again tremendously enjoyed working with all of the students and staff on
Challenges Bring Us Together the second musical written exclusively for CTL by Paul Stefany.
Along with over 60 second - fifth graders on stage, Mrs. Fiordaliso auditioned and rehearsed 14
middle school students for the show orchestra. In addition, she completely orchestrated
the parts for each instrument from the piano score. She also created the role of Student
Musical Director with a highly successful eighth grader apprentice enjoying that position.

Marilyn is delighted each year to work with all the volunteer members of the CTL Board of Directors,
the adult assistant directors, and especially with Livingston teacher, Janene DePalo, who is the
Stage Director.

Registration for participation in CTL's educational theatre training program occurs in December.
Should the number of children go over 70, a lottery is then held.
