Mrs. Fiordaliso originally created this select middle school ensemble two year ago to give students further opportunity to experience singing in two and three part harmony. This past year the seven members of VTG even accomplished singing in four part harmony! The auditioned members learn to individually hold their parts and blend with the other singer incorporated with healthy vocal skills.

Repertoire includes broadway, movie and pop classics. They are also able to perform an acapella rendition of The Star Spangled Banner.

Looking especially for new members who will learn to blend their voice with the group and who can learn some light choreography movements.

Beginning this year, students from grades 3 and upward are invited to join VOICES TO GO. Those in grades 3 - 4 will be in training and enjoy singing and movement while working in a small ensemble. Fifth and sixth graders will expand their learning to two-part singing and continued healthy vocal training. Part of each group's rehearsal time overlaps with the next level group to give all singers an opportunity to share vocal skills and repertoire.

Rehearsals are held MONDAYS during the year (except for holidays):
Andante [in training] Division (Grades 3 - 4) 4:00 - 5:00 pm NEW THIS YEAR!
Allegro Division (Grades 5 - 6) 4:30 - 6:00 pm NEW DIVISION!
Vivace Division (Grades 7 - 9) 5:30 - 7:30 pm

There is a participation fee of $135.00 plus a $25.00 returnable print music security deposit and a small costume fee TBA.

VOICES TO GO (Vivace Division) should be ready and available to perform for your organization starting late Fall 2009.
